A pioneer in brain mapping technology, Dr. Kunal Ghosh of San Jose, California, earned a master of science and a doctor of philosophy in electrical engineering from Stanford University. His contributions to the neuroscience field began with research he conducted at Stanford that culminated in the development of a miniature integrated microscope. Dr. Kunal Ghosh subsequently founded Inscopix, which utilizes this technology in its suite of core brain circuit mapping products.
Dr. Ghosh now serves as the CEO of Inscopix, guiding the company's work in creating systems that empower scientific explorations into brain function and behavior. Under his leadership, Inscopix products were named The Scientist’s no. 1 Innovation of the Year in 2013 and 2021. Committed to advancing innovation in neurotherapeutics, he has served on the World Economic Forum's Council on Precision Medicine and its Council on Neurotechnologies and Brain Science.
Before he attended Stanford University, Dr. Kunal Ghosh graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. He also has a bachelor of science from the university’s Wharton School of Business.
